Female-fronted extreme music, coming at you out of the Bay Area and worshipping the early days of grind and death metal. (Think Repulsion, Napalm Death, Carcass.) The band released their first full-length Freakery in 2006 and went on hiatus in 2008, in part so founding member Marissa Martinez-Hoadley could come into her newly-revealed gender identity. Marissa performs lead vocals and rhythm guitar, while Elizabeth (Liz) Schall of Dreaming Dead has played lead guitar since joining in 2013. Their 2nd LP Stranger was released in 2014.
