Sangwoo's a new/rookie model and ppl are already hating on him. I know that what he did was stupid, but Sungjin is not innocent, he's done the same.

It's not right to use that word or variations of that word in any context. And why bring Sungjin into this? That sentence should have ended before 'but'. Sangwoo is his own person and don't justify other's words/actions for his.
