it’s not her mission to make enemies, despite outward appearances. her, at times, icy glares and calculated silences came forth almost unwillingly. yuna had little restraint when it came to masking her distaste for others despite her, albeit weak, efforts. so, like most occurrences in the winter house, her relationships snowballed for better or for worse.
luca paek is no exception.
she’d turned her nose up at him the second they’d made an acquaintance. four years ago felt like ancient history but she could still recall every detail of that meeting. his smile, too warm. his gaze, too weak. the manner in which others seemed to naturally gravitate towards him... jealous inducing. and as dislike spiraled into antagonism, she pondered at times if she really was on the wrong side of all this. pride prevented any reformation.
now, she has an unprecedented ability to detect his presence simply in the way it chills her.
