Happy Things // 1976 // Ben & Remus
Ben was working hard in the library. He was working on a charms essay and was determined to finish it. He was about halfway through when he needed to get a different book. Ben placed his things in a neat pile and picked the book he had finished with so he could put it back where he found it.
Ben walked through the isles of books and placed his first book back and began looking for another. While he was looking he noticed someone sitting at a table by themselves. Ben continued to search for the book down the isle and as he got closer to the person he recognized them. Remus was a friend of his, his sister’s and James best friend. Ben always tried to make him happy. It seemed like he needed it. Ben found the book he was looking for and decided that he would sit with Remus and see if he needed some cheering up.
He returned to his table and grabbed his things. He neatly stacked them on his arm and headed over to Remus’s table. “Hi Remus. Would you mind if I sit here?” he asked as he pointed to the chair across from Remus
