Repaired my fave jacket, got emotional, drew something about it

"WHO? WHAT? WHEN? HOW?"

Sae wasn’t the type for big announcements. So it didn’t come as a surprise no one knew what he does in his free time, what these new full body pictures with romantic settings are or what the little charm bracelet that was a thin string meant. Despite the speculations of fans he never gave anything away. Nor his body language hinted at anything.

To everyone, he was the usual soccer prodigy Sae.

But there was this time when he got dragged to an event by his manager due to calming down a rumor. Truthfully, he wanted to dissipate from that scene.

He’d much rather lie on the couch with you- hell even on the floor. Anything with you except listening to these stupid people trying to pry into his life.

“Sae, since you are single can we expect you to introduce a girlfriend to us in the near future?” “Since the model, Fidelia Tovar, was just a rumor, can we expect you to actually have a sweetheart?” So they went on and on. Oh how this pissed him off. 

His manager always warned him about losing fans and all that dumb *beep* if he were to introduce you. Not that he cared. Yet you did, and if you said no, he is willing to stay sit and not even bark. Yes, that’s how down bad he was. Might look pathetic, but only you and him knew all the trouble you went through.

He did know the hate would affect you, and he doesn't want to see that broken face. Not again. Not after you having to go through his stupid choices all alone.

He slowly sighs, turning to the camera for the first time today. He stared into the lens as if he wanted to get a message across. 

His left hand emerged as he slowly pulled it through his hair when finally it came to his chin. Showing off his ring finger, where a ring sparkled. “I have a wife.”

That night the PR teams on every front had their work cut out. Calls from here and there, desperately trying to find a way in his short words. He flew without any other warning, his usual stoic expression displayed. 

He drove straight home where his one and only true love waited for him. “You didn’t have to drop that bombshell on the whole world.” You sighed as he took his shoes off. His phone rang all the way home and it was still trying to get his attention. Little to no avail.

Yet his eyes remained on the woman in front. “I’m honestly surprised they never caught us… I didn’t exactly hide you.” You chuckled. “I mean, I didn’t show anything sure, yet I thought they’d look more closely. Not that I'm mad, Thanks to that I have you.” He grumbled and pulled you into his embrace. "I'll protect you."

So I've been working really hard to educate my former-Trumper father on all things LGBTQIA+ and it's been a bit of a struggle. He's pretty ignorant and has a LOT of biases but to his credit, since I expressed to him that I don't feel safe around him because of the things he believes and says, he's really been making an effort, right? So even though a lot of his questions are offensive, when I point out why they're offensive, he apologizes and tries to learn.

He also used to be in the US Army.

And yesterday, he called me up and he goes. "Okay so I have a question. If a Them is in the military, and they're a higher rank than me, what do I do? Because we call people Ma'am or Sir. And I just really don't know what to do!"

And it was the cutest fucking thing, because he sounded genuinely concerned.

And we started talking about how people who use they/them pronouns can have different gender identities and the best thing to do would be to ask the person what they prefer. But it was literally just the sweetest question, because he was genuinely thinking about it. I almost cried.

At the 2022 Oscars, Jamie Lee Curtis brought out rescue pup Mac & Cheese during a tribute to the late Betty White, urging viewers to adopt. Little did she know, her Perfect co-star John Travolta and his son Ben would take the message to heart. After the show, Travolta shared a sweet pic of the pup backstage, revealing they’d adopted her. Curtis called it a “magical ending” and a perfect nod to White’s animal advocacy. Now, Mac & Cheese is part of the Travolta family, proving even Hollywood legends can’t resist a rescue dog’s charm.
