Captive Attention, pages 1-7.
Grime isn't in the big tub because he was hurt, or anything, he just deserves to spend a little time outside of the magically-pressurized-tube-suit/tank. I worried Ruby's anxiety dream would seem a little Too Real for the comic, but nothing on this chapter is more real than me looking at Grime and saying "that's me in every group project..."
Schemes, pages 1-5. That computer screen page has gotten a lot of mileage from me, meme-wise. Usually involving computers, but also, that last panel with Ominous.
Cocktail Social, pages 1-5.
And that gets us all caught up on the comic - all 55 pages of it!
By the time this post goes up, I'll possibly have started the last chapter that I am banking on having completed for 2024, which will bring us up to 60 pages.
I don't know if Count Baron will ever return, but I can't rule it out.
Rumble In Carnivora, pages 1-7.
It is not a very well kept secret that Archskull Vilgorr is kind of my favorite. He has a skull-themed mask, he gets to be in on a spit-take joke, has the first chapter that really broke containment on my 5 Pages At A Time rule, he's huge, and drinks fancy beverages out of coconuts in a hot tub.
I feel like Vilgorr and Liege haven't seen each other in quite a bit, but they always used to greet each other by their full name and title, in INCREDIBLY bold text. Maybe they will again, someday!
Typical Day (1-5) and Acknowledgement (6-7),
The original 5-page short, and the first two more jokey pages I wrote to get the ball rolling on where to go from the 'back story' catch-up. Everyone has been very nice on never calling out how bad some of the original writing (and one severe typo) are, haha (but PSA: most of that is fixed in the PDF Version).
I was going to just repost the original five page collection from my main account, but those do not appear to have ALT text, so any opportunity I can fix that with I will take!
The Spider Queen, pages 1-5. A major hindsight error to not name this chapter 'The Last Of The Sky Pixies', to be honest.
Aftermath & Precursors, pages 1-6.
This chapter had a gag page thrown into it to give Librina (Princess Ruby's personal assistant? handmaiden? we don't know the title) a little bit more room to exist, and give my shoulder some warming up to drawing in a time when I was going through some gnarly shoulder pain and, later on in these pages that were drawn in early 2024 as opposed to late 2023, some intense physical therapy.
Liege Awakens (3 pages), written as a part of the same 5-page set as the Acknowledgement comics, and featuring the very important introduction of Liege's pet murk worm, Harbinger.
