“Pfft, Liar.” Matthew couldn’t help the soft snort. He doesn’t have to be able to hear Danny’s heart to know his statement isn’t true. “You’re as careful as I am.” He turned away from Danny then and moved about the room. “Just don’t die.” That’s all he can ask of any of them.
"Hi, Matt. You're handsome." - -danny
At first Matt didn’t quite know how to respond to that. “Thank you?” Matt offered doing his best to ignore his awkwardness. He doesn’t get many compliments. Most of the ones he does get are jokes or teasing.
"Good altar boy," Danny says as he pats Matt on the head.
Matt huffed and gave the other’s hand a swat. “I’m not a dog, Danny.” He grumbled even if he was blushing. He hopped his helmet would hide the most of it. He isn’t used to anyone but Frank calling him alter boy, really.
