the only good thing to ever come out of formspring is this proof of my undying love for @taylorswift

at my twelfth birthday party i shushed all my friends and announced that i was going to play them my favourite music video (love story) on my new ipod classic

i’ve barely touched the buttons on that ipod because you’ve stayed constantly on shuffle since then. i used to have your fairytales in my ears to distract me from the name calling and the friendless days and the empty lunch tables.

things are better than they ever were now but i’m still dancing round my room in my pjs getting ready for school (/ uni/ bed/ to shower/ to go out/ at literally any time of the day) listening to you and belting the lyrics at the top of my lungs

it didn’t work out as easily as i hoped to see you the next time you came to the uk, but 8 years later it’s finally happening (turns out dreams really can come true when you’re ready and willing to book a flight and swap countries for a night)
