Tumblr is not a social media site to me, it is a cool scrapbooking \ creative writing club I go to at my local library

So if you ain’t been following what’s been happening in LA…

These towers are the Ocean Wide Plaza. I think they sit in the middle of downtown Los Angeles. They are vacant. Basically a bunch of luxury apartments in a city filled with homeless. A bunch of taggers have been hitting this place up before the city demolishes these towers instead of actually putting people into them.

Honestly, I love graffiti and would rather look at this kind of art over any museum exhibit but that’s just me. Just wanted to share some news of some artistic expression.

While the app is called Libby now you can still find it if you search OverDrive. It is free, your local librarians will be happy to walk you through how to use it if you can't figure it out on your own. If you really don't want to talk to someone just punching in "How to use Libby" on YouTube popped up like six tutorials.

Additionally it's got a great UI for audiobooks that I prefer over even Audible, Libro.fm, and Spotify as well, though that's personal preference.

i'm not saying anything that hasn't been said or thought a million hundred thousand times before. but you will not be exempt from the exhaustion and stress of existing as a woman by A) trying to constantly prove that you're one of the nebulously shifting Worthy ones or B) pulling other women back down into the bucket with you. and i think anyone who tries to tell you about the relative value or use of your own body should be torn to shreds in front of a crowd of thousands.
