Goth male reader x Kalim the embodiment of sunshine
Twst characters finding out Kalim is Engaged and is going to get married during exam break because Kalim invites them (idk if exam breaks are a thing in twst but I'm gonna pretend they are cuz my school has them, it's basically 2-5 days where the school is closed to students as teachers are grading every grades exam papers and calculating their grades)
And when the other house wardens (like Azul or Vil) are about to ask to whom Idia recognizes the name as Male reader who is a student of ignihyde and is often partnered with him and has a small breakdown on how this is exactly a trope you can find in romance manga
And Riddle then asks if Kalim gave an invite to Malleus as he wasn't in the meeting (he wasn't invited again lol but this time Kalim intended it as reader asked Kalim if he could personally give the invite to malleus as they are in the same club)
And Kalim says that Malleus got his invite first as Reader gave it to him and because he was reader's best man/man of honor
Cue the wardens being surprised and Hella thrown offnot really remembering that reader and malleus are in the same club due to still being in shock at the fact that Kalim was apparently engaged the whole time they knew him
Kalim being oblivious asks them if they are OK cuz they've gone silent
And they then proceed to ask a lotta questions like, (I) since when was Kalim engaged??? , (ii) reader as in the reader who's often first?!? {Azul or riddle would probably ask this}, (iii) how did you manage to bag a pretty boy {probably vil or Leona}, (iv) how did you manage to keep that under wraps {everyone lol}
Once they get over their Shock Vil probably asks what is the theme or what's the dress code
And Kalim says dark colors since Reader wanted/liked that idea as most of the wedding decor is goth with white roses everywhere (Kalim wanted the roses)
Reader is a goth guy, who is quiet, extremely smart (often tying with Riddle and Azul or being 1st in their year in general),who is very pretty but people don't really notice right away as his hair covers up his face most of the time (think undertaker from black butler) and is a writer. Reader is from a very wealthy family being slightly richer than the Kalim's family
Reader is apart of the Gargoyle Research Club with malleus as they appreciate the design and style associated with Gargoyles and generally likes them so Malleus and Reader are close
Once the house wardens find out, the tweels find out and Floyd (no offense but he probably would find it interesting for only a day or so) immediately "accidentally" tells ace obky to be scolded by Jamil a bit since it wasn't well known yet. Ace tells Deuce who tells Epel who tells jack and while this is happening their roommates (ace and duece have 2 other roomates, jack has a roommate and epel has a roommate) find out and everyone find out eventually and they also find out that Sebek and Ortho already know and they confirm it
While scarabia knew Kalim was engaged they did not really know to whom as reader isn't a big fan of parties and Kalim knowing this doesn't really invite him with reader appreciates
(Sebek finds out because Malleus told diasomnia that he was invited to a wedding and is the best man, Ortho because well Idia lol)

Look, everyone knew Kalim was rich. It was a well known fact, and his last name was literally mentioned in history lessons like the Kingscholars. It wasn't exactly hidden with how many times Kalim threw money— and parties— at people.
But apparently, not one person knew that he was engaged. Surprisingly not even Jamil.
It all started during the Housewarden meeting, as many of the chaotic wars and events at Night Raven College so often did. This time, the Vice Housewardens were invited to the meeting as well, and all had miraculously all managed to show up except Malleus sadly who had broken his phone with his strength yet again, with Ruggie staying because he was "an honorary Vice Housewarden" at this point.
Riddle and Azul were halfway through examining reports that they failed to finish during the actual Housewarden meeting when Kalim, cheerful as ever, interrupted with, "Oh, by the way— if you guys can keep next week's break free, that'd be totally awesome, since you guys are all invited to my wedding!"
Silence. Long, uncomfortable silence that hinted at the chaos about to unfold. The kind of silence where everyone's brain quickly short circuits all at once.
And it had, really, it had.
Jamil looked like he just witnessed Kalim say he was commiting vehicular manslaughter which would have somehow been less shocking.
Azul blinked, his glasses slipping off slightly. "..I'm sorry.. What?"
Leona looked up from the sofa he had plopped himself down on earlier, tail stopping mid-sway. "..Tell me this is a dumb joke sunshine."
Vil, mid scroll through his mirror compact, had frozen, lowering it just enough to stare over the rim. "Married? When, exactly? Did you accidentally propose perhaps? A mistake that started from one of your 'spontaneous' ideas?" He asked, brows furrowed.
Kalim tilted his head, beaming. “Nope! I’m getting married! It’s a week-long ceremony — it’s an Al-Asim family tradition! You’re all invited!”
Jamil’s head hit the table with a loud thud.
Riddle broke his pen from shock, screaming, "Excuse me?! You're what?! W-wedding!? As in matrimony?! Legal union at the age of 17?!"
Kalim obliviously added, "Well, it's legal in my homeland." as if that would help, before turning to Jamil. "Hey, Jamil, my dad told you, right?" He asked, before Jamil looked up from having his face shoved into his hands, glaring.
"Does it look like he did, Kalim?" He asked, while Kalim smiled confused, "Ah... No?" He offered, before Jamil groaned.
Kalim clasped his hands together excitedly, "It's exciting isn't it? Oh you should have seen the venue— I mean, I guess you will when you come to the wedding! I already sent you guys invites in the morning."
Ruggie whistled, unsure if he should be impressed, or mortified. "Damn, you kept a whole wedding under wraps while planning all those parties? How do you even hide that?"
Kalim smiled, full of obliviousness and happiness. "Oh, well it wasn't exactly a secret. My family's always gossiped about it for ages! Apparently the wedding was so beneficial or something that they decided a gay marriage was something they could overlook? I'm not sure. I just never thought to mention it!"
The collective sound that came out of the room along with the distinct sound that suspiciously sounded like Jamil smacking his own forehead in exasperation, was something between a groan and a psychic scream.
"Hold on, marriage since BIRTH?!" Idia suddenly screamed through the floating tablet. "Wait, wait, wait—hold on! I know this trope! Arranged mariage between childhood friends, turned to love later—it's literally straight out of a shoujo manga! This can't be real life! Did we all get isekai'd into an anime?! THIS IS SHOUJO LOGIC-" He wailed.
"..What's a shoujo?" Ruggie asked, with a very confused looking Trey right behind him.
"IT'S A GENRE CREATED TO DESTROY MY NERVES!" Claimed Idia as he screamed through the tablet.
Finally, amidst Trey's attempt at calming down Idia, and Rook's dramatic poetic speeches about love, someone, well, Leona, had finally asked the most important question.
Who, was Kalim getting married to?
"So, who's the unlucky— well, I mean lucky groom? You did say it was a gay marriage." Leona asked, smirking lazily.
See, out of everyone they expected, you weren't one of them.
So when Kalim had simply said, "Oh! I'm getting married to [Name] from Ignihyde! Our families are long time business partners so they thought it'd be a good idea for us to get married! I'm technically younger even though we're both second years, so the moment I was born, it was decided that the two of us will be married."
It was something that shouldn't have been said as simply as he said it.
So, naturally, the room burst into chaos as always.
Idia made a sound that was either a squeek or a gasp. Maybe both. "YOU MEAN THE GOTH PRETTY BOY THAT WRITES ESSAYS LIKE HE'S MANIFESTING A GOD?! This is literally romantic manga trope! The classic 'sunshine x sunshine protector' and 'stoic genius x sunshine heir' trope!!! This is canon behavior— I can't!"
That, was around the time everyone remembered who you were.
"..[Name] san, as in the student that beat both Riddle san and me?"
"NO- SCREW THAT- THE ONE GUY OTHER THAN MY OWN BROTHER THAT I'M COMFORTABLE PARTNERING UP WITH, IS YOU-" Idia pointed at Kalim with his shaking hands, "YOUR FUTURE HUSBAND???????"
It took them around 10 minutes to calm down, and eventually the meeting had turned into a gossip circle all over the fact that Kalim, who was 17, was getting married.
After that, they had moved onto sillier things, like "how the wedding was going to last a whole week," amongst other things. Then, Riddle brought up the infamous topic.
The absence of Malleus. (They all forgot to invite him)
"Is.. Malleus invited to the wedding? Please don't tell me you forgot to invite him unless you don't want him to attend." He asked, bringing back the topic of everyone's repeated, purposeful or not, failure to invite Malleus to many, many different activities, including the meeting they held today.
Kalim smiled brightly, unaware of the chaos he was soon to bring. "Oh yeah! He knew way earlier in advance! I mean, he does have best man duties anyway! He's [Name]'s best man, I think his parents forced him to have one either way, and the two were friends since [Name] is the only other club member in the Gargoyle Studies club!"
The silence stretched on, before Jamil slammed his head down on the table again.
"Uh.. you guys alright? You're all frozen like statues! Are you guys ok?" Kalim asked, confused.
That was the last moment of barely maintained peace they had before everything dissolved into chaos.
The room exploded.
"THEY'RE IN THE SAME WHAT?!" Leona shouted.
Azul choked, unable to process the information while Jade stared in mild shock. "You mean to tell me, that Malleus, Malleus Draconia— the Housewarden of Diasomnia, the Fae prince, the future king of Briar Valley, amongst other terrifying titles, is your fiancé’s best man?!"
"Yeah!" Kalim had said rather cheerfully. "He seemed so happy about it too, he said something about 'the honor of friendship that went past mortal years!' He seemed really happy for us!" He had continued, while Lilia muttered in amusement, "So that's why Malleus seemed so pleased with himself recently.. Fufufu.. No wonder he kept asking about human wedding traditions."
Riddle looked like he needed an inhaler. "How— how did no one know this?! How did this fly under our radar for the entire duration of the years you attended this school?!"
Kalim blinked innocently. "Uh.. No one asked?"

Kalim asked if everyone was ok, for the 17th time that day.
Ruggie groaned, as he leaned back into his chair. "Buddy, we're just trying to process the fact that our resident sunshine student is marrying our school's mysterious novelist from Ignihyde."
Leona snorted, "You really are full of surprises."
"Kalim, how did you bag the pretty boy? Be fr rn." Idia said through the speaker phone.
"..Cookies?" Kalim offered. Again, it did not help anyone be less confused.
Vil sighed. "Fine, if I'm attending this circus, at least tell me what the dress code is."
Kalim perked up. "Oh!" He exclaimed, as he continued. "The dress code is dark colored.. anything! As long as it's dark colored and, in [Name]'s words, as long as it's not a bomb. Apparently the traditional venue from [Name]'s family is this historic castle that's a bit dark and stuff, and he said he and his family would all prefer something darker. So instead of white, we're doing black, and grey, a bit of gold, and dark red!"
Vil took a mental note, while Rook did another monologue about the beauty of two contrasting figures asking for each other's hands in an eternal happy ending.
"Oh, with white roses everywhere though. I wanted those, and [Name] didn't care what flowers there were as long as it wasn't poisonous!" Kalim added.
Everyone sighed, bracing themselves for the upcoming chaos, before they nodded.
They all knew what was coming. A certain Floyd Leech, to be exact.

As expected, chaos came in the form of Floyd Leech. Everyone blamed Jade for telling his brother.
It wasn't quiet for long. By that evening, thanks to a very loose lipped Floyd Leech ("Oops, did I accidentally tell the all first-years about the wedding?", was what he had said before Jamil smacked him on the back of his head.), the entire campus had known.
It had started with Floyd dropping the news to Ace during Basketball practice, and then of course Ace had to tell Yuu, Grim and Deuce when he was bored in their dorms with Yuu and Grim who were invited, which ended with Deuce screaming very loudly, causing their two roomates to stare in confusion, before they pieced everything together after they listened in on the remainder of their conversation.
Then of course they had to tell Epel, who of course had to tell Jack, also when their roomates happened to be near by, and the secret only known to a handful of students, was now public school knowledge.
Sebek had found out early due to Malleus's rather open happiness over being invited to something meant to celebrate his friend, especially in such an important role as well. Ortho knew because Idia had lore dropped, and Jamil was already too tired to stop it, and was even dragged into helping with wedding planning last minute by the other servants of Kalim who called him.
It was a whole different kind of chaos for Scarabia, since you weren't exactly well known for being energetic, or fond of parties. To find out that their Housewarden was going to marry you, in just a few days, was shocking in its own right, especially when they heard Sebek telling Ace and Deuce that Malleus was the best man.
The biggest mystery was how Kalim, the human definition of a sunbeam, had managed to maintain an engagement with you of all people for 17 years. You two were already sending out reminders and RSVP invites for the rehearsal dinner.
And for you? Kalim randomly told you that he told the Housewardens and Vice Housewardens, which you immediately understood was Kalim's oblivious way of saying "Everyone will know about the wedding within 24 business hours".
You sighed, sipped your tea, and simply texted Malleus that 'No Malleus, please don't bring three different antique gargoyles to the wedding. That's not necessary.'
I actually have no idea, I js rlly like the thought of smth along the lines of that trope. I'm generally not very creative, so it always makes me happy when I find creative blogs like yours.
And uh, so may I formally request "reader comes back and everyone freaks out" and/or maybe "the first years finding out about 4th year reader and why everybody likes them?"

So, since you like Ruggie, I can start the chapter with him involved a little, maybe he can be the one to introduce Reader and since you said “them” when referring to Reader I am assuming you want a GN Reader, we can make them the “tired, stoic person that’s surprisingly unaware of the fact that people like them” (and rich) and make them very beautiful if you want. I’m assuming you want the first years to understand why everyone likes Reader (unless you want Ace laughing and wheezing over the fact that every one of his upperclassmen likes the same guy) and develop a mild crush of their own. If you want, I can do something like “There was an annual festival that Crowley held and all 4th years were invited back and all the 1st years are confused as to why everyone seems panicked.”
Also also, If you ever do Persephone! Reader, uhm, other than the fact that I want Idia to be absolutely smitten (because I'm smitten w that man), write him however you wish! I like seeing your brain work, you generally come up w rlly good ideas

I have NO schedule, like my only "outside school activity" is speedrunning my homework, you can send me any random posts at all times, and I can get it done pretty quickly if you send me a lot of details, especially about the reader and how you want the scenario to go!
