I relate to requiem so much

Like not in a my brother died kinda way

But the lyrics

Its just hard to grief or mourn for someone who was so shitty to you, yet related by blood

Like things are so clear cut that their terrible, but ur expected to mourn and it just feels so wrong while everyone else around only sees them as an angel

Idk maybe my interpretation is wrong but I just relate to this song in so many of the lyrics

dear evan hansen is not a great show but DAMN i forgot how much requiem slaps

it’s a FUCKING GOOD song and it deserves respect because it makes me cry and all songs that make me cry deserve respect

is the show good? no. but the music is amazing so it almost redeems the show.
