The prospect of another mission was a drag originally but once the assignment had been handed out and the piece of parchment was in her hand suddenly the mood on Marlene lifted. An opportunity to meet an actual group of giants had her beaming and even more so when she learned that she was paired with Molly. The woman was an actual angel and could likely convince anyone to do something with nothing more than a smile and a please.

She waited outside the latest location until Molly came out with a wave of her hand. “Is it terrible that I’m excited?” Marlene questioned her. “Aside from the fact I’ve never actually met a giant, there’s also the fact that we’ve never been on a mission together.”

the locket | regulus + nate

The mission seemed simple enough, they were to look through his family vault for a locket that was owned by one Slazar Slytherin. It had fallen into his father’s possession when Hepzibah Smith had turned up dead, likely killed by The Dark Lord during his time of working for the man at Borgin & Burke. His father was tasked with hiding it should the Ministry look into Voldemort as a suspect even though the House Elf had admitted to doing it, likely thanks to a memory charm.

He’d stopped by to pick up Nate from his home knowing the ordeal that he had just gone through and the pain that he had to be in. Thus, Regulus was in a hovering mode and prepared to catch Nate should he look as though he was about to take a tumble. “I’m hoping this will be easy but knowing my parents it likely will not be.”

EVENT 009 - THE MISSIONS

The Order and Death Eaters alike are on edge, missions are being handed out and tension is rising. The Order’s inside man Severus Snape has told Dumbledore what Voldemort is up and they’re off looking for the Horocruxes. With the Minster dead Voldemort needs his ranks to continue to grow taking a seat on his throne of ever growing power thus the Death Eaters are hard at work. All the while a common enemy lurks in the shadows waiting to strike. Even the Neutral’s can’t escape the tension from the war that surrounds them, most off on assignments with their careers.

This event will take place from posting time on Monday, June the 11th until the end of day on Friday, June the 22nd, please tag all starters & interactions with requiescatevent009. They should also be dated with date: June 11th, 1979. If the admins do not see an attempt to complete these missions whoever stalled the process will not be allowed to partake in the next event.
