Character name: Rickon Stark
Resurrected or alive: Alive
Title: Lord of Winterfell and King in the North
Bio:
After separating from his brother, Rickon was taken into hiding, travelling further and further away from home with the wildling woman, Osha. They travelled as far North as they could before eventually crossing the sea to the island of Skagos where they almost perished when the ship they were on was wrecked as it approached the stony coast, plunging everyone into the icy cold water. Rickon was unable to swim and would have drowned if not for Osha, who pulled the little boy to safety.
The two spent almost two years on the island, only surviving due to Osha’s resourcefulness and her dedication to keeping Rickon safely out of the way of the inhabitants of the island. Eventually they were discovered and brought back to the mainland by Davos Seaworth, however Osha developed an illness and never made it back to White Harbour with Rickon and Davos. This further loss of the only person left in Rickon’s life from Winterfell caused the boy to act out, and his wildness was only barely contained under the strict watch of Davos, who eventually took the boy North to reclaim his title as Lord of Winterfell. The only comfort to Rickon in this time was the return of his sister, Jorjayna, who took more to do with the running of Winterfell than he did until he was old enough to learn the duties himself. When the Seven Kingdoms split, Rickon was named King in the North by his Lords, but refused to give up his title as Lord of Winterfell; insisting that there must always be a Stark in Winterfell and making it known that never again would Winterfell be taken from House Stark.
There has been a relative peace in the North for the past several years with wildlings and mountain clans keeping a respectable distance and any who do not are dealt with swiftly and fairly by the young king, who as he is now approaching his thirtieth name day, is feeling the pressure from his advisors to take a wife and provide House Stark with an heir.
