In Ancient Egypt, when a cat died, the human family of that cat would shave their eyebrows. For the first time as an adult, I have needed to do this. Kore, also known as Kore the Calico, my very first rescued stray, passed away at 3:46AM this morning, Saturday (also known as Caturday), June 27, 2020. My life partner/Divine Consort is taking it harder than I AM, and there are times when I find myself sobbing. Kore is no longer suffering, and she started to fade late Thursday evening. Bastet, the Ancient Egyptian "Mother of all Cats," has welcomed Kore with open paws and an open heart.
