Infinit Wins the 2013 National Research Contest
For the past 15 years, the French Ministry of Research has held a competition to discover and support the country’s most innovative and disruptive young companies. French culture boasts a profound reliance on philosophy and rationality that has, in the past century, become grounded in mathematics, research and science. For this reason, it is no surprise that the French government invests heavily in emerging concepts based in research. The National Research Contest has become an effective way for the Ministry of Research to help companies expand on their foundations in research by supporting their evolution to the innovative services of tomorrow.
The 2013 National Research Contest saw nearly 1000 companies apply, each in existence for less than 2 years. The goal of the competition was to source and award the most disruptive companies in various fields from chemical and materials sciences and biotechnologies to information technologies and mechanics. Companies are judged by experts within each of the categories, based on their technological innovation and their ability to create or lead a new market.
On July 2, Infinit was named winner of the Information Technologies and Software category. The announcement was exciting and encouraging news for our team. It reflected the impact and pertinence of our strategy and a belief by the expert judges that our approach to data management was in not only feasible, but also coherent and actionable. In the end, the experience was enjoyable and we particularly enjoyed meeting people that share our vision of privacy and confidentiality of personal data.
