The admin at work wants to keep the key to the bio lab under the front desk and have us come get it as we need it instead of getting copies issued for the two other people besides me who now need access (the new bio post-doc, one of the chemists who needs to use a piece of equipment that’s kept in the bio lab) because “she doesn’t want to be responsible for that many keys” and just lol what??? That’s ridiculous. You want our lives as the researchers to be harder because three keys is too many to keep track of somehow? I’m sorry but that’s just ridiculous.
