it was weird, you know? jay being on the GOOD side of the glass. the one where people were free to come and go, plus buy some snacks or drink some shitty coffee -- jay’s done both by now. this time, jay wasn’t the one waiting to be on this side, to finally have freedom bestowed upon him again and it was only by luck that he wasn’t in there too. last night was fucking wild. best party he’s ever been to and that’s saying a lot, coming from him.
when the cops showed up, jay managed to slither away undetected, which was odd considering the LOUD outfit he wore; a speedo and a bright hawaiian shirt. you could literally see him a mile away and that’s why it was pure luck that he flew under the cops’ radar. unfortunately, francis wasn’t one of the lucky ones & he was blessed to receive the call -- the ONE phone call he could make to come pick him up.
he’d been standing up at the front, asking when francis would finally be released because it’s been FUCKING HOURS since they said that it would be ‘just a minute’. what fucking bullshit that was... anyway, he saw francis when he was flirting with the secretary, just to bide some time and give him some amusement, and started to make out with the glass. probably not the best idea because fuck knows when that was cleaned last. the secretary banged against the glass, causing jay to pull away and laugh, moving to the doorway to greet his companion with open fucking arms, like he was some white trash jesus.
“ come join me on the side of freedom! ” jay shouted out obnoxiously & on purpose, for that matter.
