clark had been on this new earth that he called a home for an entire week. he had search high and low, and even with all his powers he could not seem to find any of his family. clark wouldn’t give up no matter what, that wasn’t who he was. his dad told him a story once about how before he arrived, there had been a hurricane that hit smallville. martha wasn’t home yet and she had been stuck in town. the next day the entire town was torn up, but the only thing jonathan had on his mind was martha. he searched every corner of the town, and had went as far as to tell clark he would search the earth if it meant finding martha. when he did he promised he would never let her go again, and clark made the same promise to himself. but at times clark had that creeping doubt come to his mind that maybe he was the only one of his family teleported here.
but clark also couldn’t have no identity. he had decided it was time to accept life here on this new earth, and find some sense of normalcy. he had learned that the daily planet didn’t exist on this earth. a news outlet did exist though going by the name of the daily bugle. clark had decided that he would try to get a job there so then he could least have some life as clark kent. he pushed his glasses on his face as he fumbled his way through the street making his way into the lobby.
a kind assistant met him in the lobby, and brought up to the floor where he would be interviewed. then suddenly clark paused in his tracks. all the voices in the world seemed to fade away with his sense of hearing. not even the assistant that stood two feet before clark asking if he was okay could interrupt clark’s stare. there she was before him. he had searched up and down the city, the world, and the whole time she was in the place clark should’ve search first. “Lois,” Clark said with a tremble in his voice and his eyes becoming watery.
