HONK! I told you we should’ve come to the pond earlier. The good snacks are gone, the turtles have claimed the sunny log, and Gary’s already started drama with the mallards. Classic late arrival.

It's a blistering 92 today at Gosling Beach,every body just resting and trying to stay cool.As long as everyone stays on their own side of the pond all is well.

Every time I see these two they are squabbling.The parents just look on as if to say say Hey what can you do ?

Gaggles not been at the pond lately think its to hot.Miss seeing them.Making friends with the crows now .They come for peanuts slowly they are getting used to me.Gaggle gossip soon to come hopefully.

Gosling I rescued on this day last year,while waiting for bird rescue to come he sat in my lap or my bathtub.He was imprinted on humans they said .I still know him now and which one he is.They did end up releasing him back into wild he was slow learning everything but after awhile he became one of the gang.
