Credit © 📷 @jordangatto and caption We all want everyone to see them, the tourists, the kids, the Orcaholics, we really do want you to experience them where they belong. But when the Killer Whales aren't around, we aren't worried about your sightings, we're worried about whether or not they're finding enough food to stay healthy. We've watched these incredible beings for years, we see when they're in poor health, we know every baby who doesn't survive long enough to grow up, and we watch them struggle year after year to find enough salmon to eat to sustain their families. Help the Killer Whales by supporting wild salmon recovery projects and making wise decisions when selecting what food you purchase. And if you're out whale watching, kayaking, or viewing from the shore, remember to appreciate the other animals out there. We're lucky to be able to see Humpbacks in our waters again, dolphins are master acrobats, Eagles rule the skies, Sea Lions scuffle on haul-outs, and you can hardly avoid Dall's Porpoises. We all want healthy Killer Whales, if you're out on the water this summer, ask your guides, naturalists, and captains what you can do to help make sure we continue to have Killer Whales in our waters for the future. I sincerely wish everyone the best of luck with their Killer Whale viewing this season and for everyone working in the industry, remember to be patient 😜😄💙 🐬 A30s . . #KillerWhale #Orca #Dolphin #Whale #WhaleWatching #EcoTourism #NRKW #SRKW #ResidentOrca #JoinThePod #NoFishNoBlackfish #PNW #BC #Salmon #SalishSea #BroughtonArchipelago #Naturalist #Nature #Animals #ShareTheCoast #WestCoast #NatureIsOurFuture #AllNatureShots #BeTheChange #ProtectWhatYouLove #WeAreTheOrca #Ocean #Coextinction #Conservation #RacingExtinction https://www.instagram.com/p/B0VOmprCyX1/?igshid=sioctjb53f90
