Jun found it strange being back in school after everything that happened two weeks. After the dust had finally settled once Nyarlathotep and Maya being saved from getting stabbed by Okamura the adrenaline had left him. One moment he’d been enveloped in a hug among his precious friend and the next he’d woken up in a hospital bed with Tatsuya at his bedside.
He’d been unconscious for a week, his body and mind needing the rest after the strain they went through. The anger and bitterness of the past ten years brought up by false memories, the real memories resurfacing in the temple, his mother’s passing... It’s been a rough few days since he got out of the hospital, arranging things and figuring out what he was going to do after high school.
Sighing, Jun shook his head gently and pushed those thoughts aside as he walked past the school gates of Kasugayama. He had to look to the future now, the future that he and his friends managed to save. Looking up from the ground, brown eyes widened slightly when he spotted a familiar motorcycle and Tatsuya leaning against a nearby tree. The smile that broke across his face was small but bright as he quickened his pace until he stopped in front of him.
“Tacchi, I hope you weren’t waiting too long for me,” Jun said instead of a proper greeting as he looked up at his closest friend and love. His eyes softened and he added. “I missed you.”
