In today’s reality, this day serves as a reminder of the importance of maintaining unity among all Ukrainians, both at home and abroad, as well as the unity of Ukraine’s partners in supporting our country.
Ukraine’s Unity Day symbolizes national cohesion and the aspiration for freedom, while the significance of the 1919 Act of Unification remains relevant even now, 106 years later. Ukrainians strive to live in a united, sovereign, and independent state.
We honor the memory of Ukrainian defenders who gave their lives for the freedom and unity of our nation and express our gratitude to all those who continue to protect Ukraine from Russian invaders today.
We call upon the global Ukrainian community to preserve unity and national identity, and to work together to overcome Russia’s aggression and restore a just peace. Through our collective efforts, Ukraine’s voice must resonate loudly and confidently on the international stage. Together, we can ensure the preservation, recovery, and development of Ukraine.
