Respawn down!

It had been a long day for the Engineer. He’d spent most of it doing a few routine things around the base. Most notably, he was working on some minor upgrades to the respawn. Changing some things around, and adding in new parts so it would keep on working just as it always had. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case.
He now stood in his shop, the base around him filled with a chilling silence, as his team had gone. He couldn’t get the sound out of his head, as the respawn desperately tried to work, the sound it made as it failed. He couldn’t shake the sight of a few teammates just, laying there.
In a fit of frustration, he drug his arms across his work table, swearing loudly as he did. Papers flew off, and large parts clattered to the ground as he did. The blueprint for the respawn hung delicately on the wall in front of him. His eyes, burning with tears scanned over them, over and over again. He had done it all, just as shown. So what went wrong.
Another burst of frustration coursed through him, as he slammed his foot into the wooden table leg, causing it to break. As the table toppled over to the ground, Dell fell to his knees and broke into a heavy sob.
