If Nora could store many things in her gem, how much can she store? Like, there has to be a limit since she is part human. Would she also pass out if she store too much?

If it were possible to store things in her Gem, I would object to the fact that there would be a limit. Steven canonically doesn’t seem to have any limitations on what his actual Gem can do, only what his body can handle. I like to imagine Pearl’s Gem works similarly to a Pokeball, maybe, where it’s turning physical things into data and storing it that way? If that’s the case, the only limit the Gem itself would have would be how much data it could store, which shouldn’t be any less than Pearl would have had. O:

are there any significant changes to steven's personality in this au?

He’s a little more calm because he has Nora. He doesn’t have to act quite as over the top to get attention, because she’s always there to talk to and he’s not as lonely.

how did you decide on that design for nora? did you have any ideas about making her more pearl like or more rose like? what was the thought process is what im asking I guess.

I actually designed Nora to look more like Greg than either Rose or Pearl! It just happens that Rose, Pearl, and Greg all have overlapping features and it works out nicely to make her look like a mix of all three :) My plan originally was to make sure she looked like a mix of Rose and Greg first, with Pearl’s features mixed in like an afterthought, which is kind of how she was made. But yeah, largely, feminine Greg.

Questions regarding the twins’ powers are considered spoiler questions and will not be answered either way until we reach those points in the story. Similarly, questions about how x Gem joined the Crystal Gems, where a certain Gem who isn’t a CG in this story is, or how they’ll discover the Big Twist without Pearl there will not be answered until those points are reached in the story.

I’m not mad, no one is in trouble, I just wanted to let you all know why I’m not answering those specific questions because I don’t want anyone to think I’m just ignoring them!! I’m really happy you’re all asking questions, even the ones I can’t answer yet!

Does Nora dislike food or a specific type of food like Pearl did? I mean I know she needs to eat to live, obviously, but I'm wondering if any of Pearl's traits translated that way for he.r

Nora prefers not to eat overly crunchy foods. The crunchy texture is unappealing to her. So, she wouldn’t eat some kinds of dry cereal, for example! Some are okay if they’re the softer brands but others are a big old nope.

Hellowo! So I just read your rest asks. I love how you design Nora as feminine Greg, I'm a huge fan of his character and this feels like appreciation and creativity :D Also, I really dig Cubic Zirconia's corrupted form. Like, wow! A perpetual shapeshifter... must be exhausting. Poor CZ! 😭 Anyway, take care if your hands first and foremost! I hope it recovers soon! :D -R

Because I wanted to add this, too! She probably was really tired. I imagine she likely poofed many times out of overexertion ever since she was corrupted, which is part of why the Crystal Gems never ran into her. (aside from the fact they can’t run into every Corrupted Gem out there) She must have seemed more intelligent than other Corrupted Gems, but she really only had one purpose and it was “find correct form”. Well, two purposes. Find correct form and defend self. Which is why she was attacking Nora- it was out of defense, just like an animal would. Just an animal with hands.

Anyway, find correct form. She was taking any form of any animal, human, or Gem she could find trying to replicate her own form, which she can’t find anymore due to corruption. Though, even if she could somehow stumble upon another Cubic Zirconia, it wouldn’t have changed anything. She wouldn’t recognize the right form because she’s so corrupted that there’s no thought process beyond “find correct form”.

What was your other idea for the au or this is it? Like, instead of Pearl gone, it was Amethyst or something.

It was originally going to be a standard Momswap, with Garnet, Amethyst, and Pearl being replaced with Jasper, Peridot, and Lapis. But that’s been done a lot and I got the idea of other Gems giving their ... Gems to the kids from other AUs like @ask-whitepearl-and-steven‘s. It jumped from “Momswap” straight to Twiniverse =)
