This is an appreciation post for Rafael Nadal: Despite having the toughest last few months of his life, suffering a heartbreaking injury after a US Open lost, about to become a FATHER in the next few weeks with his wife CURRENTLY suffering complications in the hospital, still flew out to London for ONE DAY to be with Federer in his last day. He serves as a masterclass example of loyalty and friendship.

Having now withdrawn from the Laver Cup, it was evident he only came in the first place for Federer and is now returning to be with his wife and family. Let's wish him all the best and all the love, because my god, this guy deserves it.

today was a relatively good day! other than some parts which downright sucked, i had a good time with my friends.

school was pretty alright, and I went out with my friend afterward for some much needed quality time (and a snack!). i managed to find onigiri at our local convenience store – so that was a win! i love onigiri so much aaaaa.

right now, i just finished dinner and i'm about to start some work before i join a zoom call to study with my friends for a history test we have tomorrow! it's really fun when you study with a friend because a) it keeps you accountable for what you do and b) good for people like me who need someone else there to study with them or else they will literally get no work done lol

hm yeah today was a slow day as well, and it's so hot here! drink up and rest well loves xx

I’m the reason my sister broke her wrist. 

So, I was like 13, she was like 8, we were hanging out with my friends riding our bikes down hills and stuff. We were kinda close to houses, where we were living at the time. Well, I convinced my sister to go down this hillside that was pretty close to a wall and she didn’t want to do it at first but I was like, “Don’t worry about it you can just move out of the way!” so she does it, but moves right into the wall and hits it in comedic fashion, I’m talking like cartoon splat! effect, she was fine, so I thought a few minutes later her wrist starts swelling and she was complaining that it hurt to move. I bribed her not to talk about it with mom, she promised she wouldn’t. But hours later my mom yelled at me, asking me why I made my sister go down the hill and I knew she snitched on me.

after that we all went to the er and she broke her wrist in two places.
