Hackers leaked 800 GB of internal employee data from US retail giant Ahold Delhaize after a brutal ransomware attack. Over 2.2 million workers across Giant Food, Food Lion, and Stop & Shop are now exposed.
SecurityWeek reports that the Inc Ransom group infiltrated Ahold Delhaize’s internal systems in November 2024, stealing data tied to current and former employees. The breach was only publicly confirmed after the group posted stolen files online in April 2025. Compromised data includes names, Social Security numbers, passport details, financial and health information.
