Number one way the government could actually help the working class?
Considering that most people spend more than 1/3 to 1/2 of their paycheck on rent. You could curve poverty and financial struggle by investing massively in public housing.
Creating ‘’People House’‘ consisting of huge apartment complex in which you could find a grocery store at the main floor, free gym in the underground, a bus line deserving the complex.
You could have it shaped so that you have a public agora inside and a café where people can meet and discuss. You could have a childcare facility for the working class families, where they could drop there kids and go to work, without stress.
You could have a nurse office to do primary care and prevention/education.
If shaped in a square, you could have a communal garden and park in the middle, where people could learn about auto-sufficiency and gardening. Giving access to activities and exercises.
You would reduce the price of all the apartment in the city, offer enough to the working people to decrease food instability and insure a community spirit, reducing stress and offering education and health care close to where people need it.
THIS OVERALL would cost less to the government by reducing the stress, and health problems. Would insure that people can save more money, have more time for themselves, make them happy.
The only reason we aren’t doing it is because rich gouls are making it impossible to demands such things by lobbying against the left and the working class.
