It has been used in a restaurant kitchen since the last but one century and has lived to tell the tale. It is very heavy and for it's size and has a real quality feel about it. This pan is a proper French pan! This is a chefs staple for making all sort of foods and sauces, this will saute food in an even and professional way, this pan will not move from where it is put. This is a 'go to' pan As with all precious old things there are a few faults and signs of wear and use. There are numerous scratches, dents, scrapes and bruises. The tin is new. The handle is firmly fixed there is no play in it at all it is chunky and has a silkiness that is impossible to fake. This is a lovely old pan. This is 2.5 mm copper and weighs 2.38 kilos around 5lbs 4 ozs and measures 22 cm 8 5/8ths inches in diameter. NO 767

EX RESTAURANT, QUALITY PANS BEAUTIFUL HAND MADE AND HAND HAMMERED RIVETS SET OF FIVE ALL YOU WILL EVER NEED GORGEOUS VINTAGE PANS COMPLETELY NEW TIN This is an ex restaurant set of pans that have been retinned and used extensively. They have been considered such an asset that they have been retinned and used again. The tin linings are totally in tact and ready for many more meals to cook. They have proud copper rivets that are big and robust and the handles are finished to a pewter like finish and have no play at all. Ther is a set of edge dents in the largest pan, this is where the pan has been repeated put on the stove in a similar way, catching the edge. This is a quality set of pans that will outlast all of us. These are beautiful and totally fit for purpose. They have been well looked after and polished to a beautiful patina. there are surface scratches and signs of wear, the interiors have been re tinned using the traditional hand wiped method so this can be a little uneven - totally fit for purpose! These have been used extensively and 'run in' they will do exactly what you want them to do, they have all the patina of a set of pans that have been passed down through generations and look absolutely fantastic. You can be as brutal as you like with these and they will still look marvelous. A good set of 2 mm professional pans that you can use all day without worry. They measure 20cm, 18 cm, 16cm, 14, cm and 12 cm and 10 cmand weigh a massive 5.05 kilos 11 lbs 1 ozs. That is just over 8 inches, just over 7 6.25 inches, 5.5 inches, 4.75 and 4 inches. They will be posted using a La Poste Collissimo signed for parcel post purpose made box, this is a fairly inexpensive way to post very heavy and expensive items.
