The worried statement fell from the girl’s lips, voice full of concern as she looked the girl over. Sure, Allison would just tell her that she was okay. She could handle herself. It was nothing. It would heal. But, that didn’t stop Skye’s stomach from lurching. She hated seeing the girl hurt, no matter if it was a simple paper cut or something much sinister.
Her hands moved slowly over the girl’s shoulder, brushing her hair to the opposite one before she looked at the scratches.
"You gotta — You gotta be more careful…" Oh, please. Allison was the most careful person that Skye knew. She swallowed hard before the hunter managed a smile.
"You need to stop worrying so much." Skye couldn’t argue with that one, chuckling before grabbing some hydrogen peroxide from the table beside her and putting it on a cotton ball, cleaning up the wound slowly.
"I’m never gonna stop worrying about you, Allison." It was only the truth, because how could she? She would never, ever in a million years just not worry about the girl. No matter if they were friends, lovers, or nothing at all — Skye would always be concerned. She didn’t care about how many times the Argent protested and told her that she could take care of herself. She would worry. It’s what Skye did.
After cleaning the cut, she let out a soft sigh, lips falling to her collarbone, mere inches above the cut.
"Please don’t do something like that again without me," she whispered, lips trailing feather light kisses over the girl’s skin.
