I stood in line for the iPhone 4S, upgrading from my Original iPhone. Of course there are hundreds of upgrades, lots of them hardware based, and many because I was stuck at iOS 3.1.3. What constantly amazes me, besides the speed, beautifully smooth video, brilliantly better (but not perfect) photos, and my love of the super smooth glass and aluminum, is the display. Sure there's lots of you that have the 4 and have since 2010, but I'm new to this. I knew there was more, and I don't settle and it had to be HAD TO BE white. Apple perfection to me. If my MBP could have a white bezel... I have times where, so I've studied, that my brain works dozens, if not hundreds, of times faster than I can recognize and I pause, somehow waiting to let myself catchup with what my brain has already comprehended. Some of these times, when I'm not in my design mindset, I start noticing things. Like how beautifully the shadows look beneath the keyboard keys, how tiny dots are unimaginably smooth and round, and how the tips of pointed objects don't end with a visible pixel, but with the smooth, laser print like edge of something I've designed getting perfectly printed. Perfection is subtle and not pretentious, but once noticed, supremely appreciated.
