Louis took a breath stepping away from the hospital, he was glad to have taken a shower the last patient had left him feeling sticky. He ruffled his hair once more before starting down the sidewalk. Swapping with Jaz worked out for him, it gave him time to wander Klin in the daylight for once see if something in the fog might lift. He rounded the corner spotting the little coffee shop and making his way to the counter and ordering a drink. He started to him as he waited on the drink tapping his toes and smiling.

Pulling my arm around you.

Skin against skin.

Odor to odor.

All I said was, "Remember when walks in the rain meant nights on the loveseat."

2:13 am // back again in Albany The men just left. Albany men, with their strong jaws and dirty vans. There's still porn running in the background in the flat screen. I was hoping to turn in the xbox and finally play but everyone is exhausted. There's cigarettes all over the table and wine glasses in the sink. I'm naked in this king sized bed. Alone. This is a rare occasion. These sheets feel so good against my skin. I'm watching the traffic of the city from the bed and I can see the lightening snaking around ominously in the background. I stood in the shower for like forty minutes, just winding down, listening to music. I want to go to the lake and jump off the tire swing into it. I want to watch the sunset from the roof while the men grill. But there's an important reason why I've been summoned here. You know, besides universal fate. But fuck me, if you think I'm not enjoying this empty bed, and the quietness of it's space. I smell like fresh shower water and dove soap (I'm still allergic, but I smell amazing). I'm basically my own lullaby right now.
