Presenting... Rise of the Guardians Hot Takes!

I just recently got my sister to watch my favorite movie of all time. While watching it, I remembered some old hot takes I used to have.

Btw, I still love the movie even though it does have some flaws. :3

Hot Take #1: Jack's voice

This one isn't really a hot take. I know a lot of people who have a problem with his voice. I didn't have that much of a problem with it (and tried my best to defend the casting for Jack), but then I started seeing that those people kind of have a point. Chris Pine voicing Jack now reminds me of that one episode of Gravity Falls where Dipper has a deep voice. Upon watching Invincible, I had the thought that it would be funny and better casting if Ben Shwartz voiced Jack Frost (the funny part being that Jack would be another character with blue that Ben would voice), but then rewatching the movie with my sister made me realize that maybe Steven Yeun would've been the better option (great at voicing teens, and also I think he would've done a great job with the beginning and ending monologues).

Hot Take #2: The art style

I love every single detail put into the movie, but I'm not the biggest fan of the Shrek style the movie has (no offense to Shrek fans). Looking at some of the deleted scenes, storyboards, and Rufftoon's comics gave me the idea that Rise of the Guardians would look great with a more 2D art style (and I think it would fit better with the comedy). Besides, I'd love to watch another one of DreamWorks 2D movies (we seriously need more of those. There's only like 4 of them).

Hot Take #3: TOOTH IS HOT AND NO AMOUNT OF "UNCANNY" COMPLAINTS WILL EVER CHANGE THAT!

Hot Take #4 (forgot to add): Tooth X Jack is pretty underrated tbh.

Just watched Rise of the Guardians and noticed that the Baby Tooth Jack liked so much had the same mole/beauty mark placement by her eye as Jack's sister
