Today I got a letter in the mail, tore it open, and then sat on the floor sobbing for a few minutes. Ten years ago, a very sick, scared, sad Ray went to college for the first time. I let my parents choose my major and my then-fiancé choose my school. Life has been insane, painful, exhausting, and so incredibly full of growth since then. I have never been able to take the traditional path in life. But here I am, finally ready to go to a school I chose to pursue the major I am passionate about.
