Crossover between JJK and the Idolm@ster. Specifically the Idolm@ster Cinderella Girls, so that way Todo be a fan of Kirari Moroboshi.

I have too many fic ideas, haha. But here's one I have about Todo and Mechamaru.
Title: Visitations
Rating: T, maybe even G
Pairings: Todo & Mechamaru, maybe Todo/Mechamaru if you squint (not sure to what extent there should be a romantic aspect because they’re elementary schoolers)
Genre: Slice-of-life, also sad but there will be funny and heartwarming moments too!!!
Major Tropes/Tag/Themes: Childhood friends, forgotten first meeting (kind of?), pre-canon, hospitalization
Warnings: Ableism from various characters towards Mechamaru, hospitals and medical care
Notes/Summary:
- Yuki is observing kid Mechamaru as part of her research on Heavenly Restrictions and the Nature of the Soul. One day she decides to bring little Todo to visit him in the hospital so that Todo can learn patience and kindness towards people who are weak and vulnerable.
- Little Todo finds Mechamaru boring at first because he can’t play in the way Todo likes but eventually they become friends (and Mechamaru becomes attached to him like a little puppy).
Todo isn’t allowed to visit Mechamaru anymore after he gives him a hug and breaks his bones 😢
- Generally Mechamaru is treated like a zoo animal by Jujutsu Society to get good publicity from visiting an ill child or to impart lessons about the Unfairness of Life. There might be cameos from various figures (e.g. Gojo visiting Mechamaru, first for Publicity and then to give a lesson to Megumi, Naobito showing Mechamaru to Mai to explain Heavenly Restrictions to her and causing a ruckus)
- Yuki isn’t friendly to Mechamaru the way she is to Todo because she sees him primarily as an observation subject and not as someone worth mentoring.
- It’s my HC that Jujutsu Society people thought Mechamaru would die before his teenage years. They were mainly housing him for Research Purposes and to prevent non-Sorcerer scientists from studying him and his condition.
This is SOO unspecific but I’d love to see what you’d do with some randomized prompts and pairings to see how you interpret them. Something like those sites that make you spin a roulette. Alternatively: anything with Nobara
Ooooh I’d love to try my hand at that too bc the Jujutsu Kaisen array of characters is such a good toybox. I’ve actually been trying to find a good randomiser site specifically for that! (I haven’t had much luck, so if anyone knows any good ones please let me know!)
Also: yes 🤝 Nobara 🤝 She’s SUCH fun to write! Although the way I used her has been very limited and centred around comedic effect, so I’d like to try my hand at something with more depth for her (there’s a wip…)
