20 years old

Kind of nerdy, he likes comics and being around Kim

He is a little shy and awkward - but he got some special connection with kids, who all just love him

He's is very good at technologies and often help Lea setting up websites, contacting sponsors and keep track of the economy

Volunteer at the Children's Home

Was convinced by Kim to follow her to Ghana

He is from Australia, Sydney as Kim and wanted to take a gap year after high school. He is planning on studying IT in the future - with the aim being able to help charity organizations and such

Meet the characters from Returning to Ghana - Kimberly Brown

Kim (which she prefers to be called) is a volunteer at the Children's Home 

She is 21 years old and from Australia 

Her best friend is Max Gosling - who she convinced to come with her

She has been in Ghana for about a year now

Besides this she loves to dance and is part time studying ancient dance arts (which is why she wanted to go to Africa also) 

She is very openhearted and easy going

Obeying her wealthy family who wanted her to study law she took of to Ghana after finishing high school (which is where she knows Max from)

You can find her where ever the is a dance floor and a beat - either being in the dining hall at the Children's Home or in a club in Accra. Anything will do

18 years old

Works at his grandfather's hotel in Accra, Ghana

Is a very lively spirit, whose always happy and sees the best in people

He is easy to talk with - since he does most of the talking

He is extremely good at skateboarding and parkour 

Traveling the world is his big dream and he often speak of all the places he wants to see

He likes a good party and easily falls for beautiful girls

Meet the characters from Returning to Ghana - Lea Jackson

Lea Jackson is leading a children's home in Ghana 

She is 22 years old 

Her father was a doctor who moved to Ghana from South Africa. Working for help organizations he saved thousands of life. His daughter learned a lot by him and he was her inspiration in life

Lea's mother died giving birth to her

Lea was studying journalism, but as her father passed away - which meant no one was there to managed the children's home - she quitted the studies to take over her father's role

She is hardworking got a strong sense of justice and a deep natural urge to help others

Her grandfather lives in London and help her fund the home, as he got his own company and therefore loads of contacts (it was him who arranged with Comic Relief that they could come and visit the children's home)

As Lea has seen unfairness and experienced some heartbreaking things - she has been toughened and doesn't trust anyone till they have proven to her that they are good people

 At the same time she got a loving heart for people in need and push herself as much as she can in order to help most people possible

Practically you do not want to get on her bad side

She hasn't spent much time on relationships as she got very hurt this one time - and since have been focusing on 'things that really matter'

Meet the characters from Returning to Ghana - Harry Styles

Opposite to my other stories - one of the 1D boys are the main character. So this story is about Harry Styles (which is why he also gets a character description)

20 years old (when the story takes place)

Lives in London - but spends most of his time travelling the world with his band

Is a member of One Direction and have been on no less than 2 world tours (with a stadium tour scheduled) 

Harry has always been portrait as the player, the hipster, the party animal and he absolutely loves this new life as a celeb

He is a bright spirit who always smiles and seems confidence 

Socializing with the higher class, attending fashion shows, driving cool cars and partying in LA or central London are stuff he does in his free time

He got half of the teen girls in the world swooning and everywhere he goes there are paps, fans or journalists following him

He visited Ghana with the boys in January 2013 - as part of their participation in the Comic Relief project, which made him realize a lot about life. While on tour - he decides to return to Ghana once he can get the chance.

But there is another more unknown side to Harry - because even though the rest of the world sees him as an angel made of model material - he doesn't see himself that way. After visiting Ghana he is ashamed of himself, while others are living in poverty and fighting for survival he is out partying spending his money on designer clothes. This feeling and thought - that he wants to make a difference is what in the end makes him take off to Ghana without anyone knowing

In Ghana Harry is going to follow his heart - and he is going to evolve as a person, experience things and meet others who will make such an impact on him that he will never be the same
