"Would a hare truly find you threatening?" Tsukishima murmurs, not looking up from his page, but keeping Grimmjow in his peripheral vision. His calm smile never wavers, despite the annoying interruption.
He turns a page, shifting the bookmark at the same time. He knows of this Arrancar, but Grimmjow wouldn't know him very well. Nor what he was capable of. If there was a disadvantage, it was Grimmjow's lack of understanding, thinking he was just a human.
"Why don't you ask Ichigo how disadvantaged I am, hm? Unless you want to test that assumption yourself?"
“If it was smart.” He leers, foot steps silent as he stalks around the fullbringers back, settling into his blind-spot before closing the distance. Tsukishima isn’t looking at him. His mistake. It could be less than a heartbeat and Grimmjow could run him through. Letting him out of his line of sight like that...
Sonido is fast, a crack and whoosh of displace air follows swift motion that could - if Grimmjow were truly interested in hunting and killing - end their game immediately. But Grimmjow is feline at heart, and he likes to play with his food from time to time. The sonido lands him directly behind Tsukishima, close enough that his breath can blow hot across the back of the mans neck.
“I’ll take my chances.” Test his assumptions. Fuck around and see if there’s anything worthwhile here. A new person to amuse and entertain him. “Kurosaki shouldn’t get to have all the fun.”
