With that, Reufru retreats into hibernation to heal up.

While in wounded state, Fureur’s shadow Reufru is mostly hiding in his large hair, due to the fact that it’s the darkest spot in his body most of the time.

The bite is still fluffy and soft and doesn’t harm you- but your shadow starts to reside into the bite and your arm starts to be filled with static feeling, since Reufru is eating it to regain more power for himself to heal up faster.

This is one of the survival tactics of living shadows.

Depending on the amount of your shadow being eaten, the longer the static feeling stays in the area of the missing shadow. It regenerates itself naturally 1cm per 10 minutes, starting from the area your natural shadow is still being connected from.
