What do you imagine rev!Candy and Grenda to be like?
To me, Reverse Candy and Grenda are still Mabel’s closest friends. Candy is a technology whiz who can hack into a laptop in like 2 minutes without trying hard, and Grenda is considered the most fearsome ‘normal’ person in town. Mabel claims that Grenda once punched a manotaur in the face and it ran off crying (Dipper hasn’t denied this).
Both of them are supported by the Gleeful family to an extent, but neither of them stay with Mabel because of that. They’ve been friends with Mabel the longest, even before the amulets and the big push for the Telepathy Twins act. The love her a lot and are willing to do anything they can to help her, but this doesn’t mean they won’t question her. They know that sometimes Mabel gets too close to breaking the law, and they worry about what will happen to her if there came a time when she was forced to go to prison. They’re two of a select group who Mabel won’t use her amulet on.
Most importantly, they’re all still obsessed with boys. Grenda’s got a long term relationship going on with some guy called Marius from Europe, but she still joins in with the latest gossip at their weekly sleepovers. Candy has a bad habit of hacking into guys phones or laptops to find out more about them, but she normally gets bored with them after a few days.
I also think Candy might have had a hand in at least designing the robot Mabel uses in the equivalent of Gideon Rises, if she didn’t build the whole thing herself.
