crystalsandcoffee answered your question:
Im not sure about roaches and wasps. But mix equal parts coconut oil and vinegar and rub it on all your baseboards to keep spiders away :).
Hmm... I hadn't thought about just keeping them out in the first place. That certainly makes sense. Perhaps I'll give this a try! Thanks for your suggestion!
nightkind answered your question:
I feel guilty too but I trap the slugs that eat all my produce zap the mosquitoes that bite me. We can’t just live with mites and fleas u kno
That makes a lot of sense. I really have no qualms with killing roaches or wasps, because they don't really serve functions. Roaches carry diseases and wasps don't even pollinate. But spiders... as much as they terrify me, they are essentially good. They catch bad bugs and are good for the environment... just not the environment within my home :'D Thank you for your answer.
whoreofabaddon answered your question:
I know pests are particularly terrifying, but perhaps with spiders and wasps, you could catch them in a glass and release them.
My problem with spiders is that I'm too afraid of them to catch and release ;w; My terror is... ridiculous. If I see a spider in my kitchen, it may as well be a serial killer standing in my home with a skii mask and a blood knife. I absolutely lose my shit. If I have my DAD around, I'll get HIM to catch and release. But... I can't do it myself ;w; Thank you for your answer <3
revcarrie answered your question:
Well, they crossed the boundary by coming into your home. If I have to kill something I say, “Go with your Gods in peace!” before the killing
Yeah, you're right... they are intruders. I think I'll take crystalsandcoffee's suggestion and try to do more to keep them from entering my home in the first place. But if they do get though the reinforcements, I'll remember to send them off peacefully. Thank you very much for your answer!
