“Vivi isn’t exactly ‘intimidating’, either,” Arthur quipped back on habit. “At least, not until she has her bat in her hand.” He felt bad for not speaking up, when Jasper volunteered to go first...but he’d already been impaled once, and nearly lost his arm again for it. He wasn’t eager to go flinging himself in the path of another trap so quickly.
“Let’s go slow,” Arthur suggested instead. “Look for tripwires, suspicious floor tiles, stuff like that. Now that we know they’re a thing, I mean...”
