30 Minutes Missions Revernova (Green)

finally another Bailon 30MM kit

it's a big and chonky mech, suitable to be the precursor to the Portanova

the head is more posable than its big dome shape implies, though it's still a big dome

overall a fun kit

Built some gunpla last weekend while friends were visiting, was fun :>

Kit number 3 is the Revernova!

I really like this one! Nice and bulky with the reinforced armor, and a gun as tall at he is! The panel lining turned out really well on this one I think. Here's some pics:

Pretty easy to pose, although the big legs can get in the way a bit. I also really like that the eye is a actual piece instead of a sticker.

And my first 30 Minute Missions kit finished! It was a lot of fun. The Revernova’s a nice little simple design. About as tall as the HG Wing Zero, so on the smaller side of things.

There was lot more panel lining to do than I expected. A lot of detail for what was essentially a ten or twelve dollar kit for me.

Certainly easier to actually put together than an HG kit, but took about as long with my insistence on panel lining and getting distracted with shows in the middle of it. I don’t like how the shoulder armor is attached, it feels very flimsy. I’d prefer a firmer connection there.

The arms would keep falling off as I tried posing them, and using the high power rifle as the high power rifle definitely limited just how many poses they could pull off with the thing. So, I ended up splitting the rifle up and using it as both a smaller gun and an arm mounted rifle instead.

Up next for builds are gonna be the Forestieri 02 and the Truck stand thing. Since that’s the one that’ll be using it.
