My concept designs for the stars in the Reverseal multiverse ^^
Little doodles, Carrion is to be elaborated upon further with time, Cadaver remains Cadaver, both Dream variants are obviously not my own.
Alright, finally time to introduce all to the first major design for a concept I'm naming Reverseal.
Reverseal is a multiverse concept I've held onto for a while, not quite a swap since it focuses more on a shift in who the storyline affects and the effects it would have on the characters rather than just swapping around the roles of the characters themselves.
This one here, is Reverie, or Reverseal!Nightmare. Reverie is the opposing counterpart to his younger brother, Phantasm. Lore yap below, ignore it if you wish ^^
He is the result of Dream finding out about the unlawful torment the town had been subjecting his brother to in his absence, the assailant in the tree calling out to him, before it did Nightmare. Dream trusted that voice, not knowing who it was. The young prince was promised justice for his brother, the power to enforce the kindness Nightmare had originally deserved. He realized all too late that he was deceived.
Phantasm went on to enforce toxic positivity. A belief that it was more beneficial to suppress any negative feeling, he'll feed off of faux positivity just as well as he would any other kind. Reverie, the opposite. Promoting healthy acceptance and expression of negativity, coping. Reverie grew accustomed to handling the controversy of what he stood for, as the sole remaining guardian it became easier to maintain. He gained more respect overtime.
