[crazy rich asian] tbf, idk if it's my mood or the movie is actually just so-so. [[MORE]] Got a few chuckles. Drama is... hm. Basic bitchy bullying (is raw fish gutted really that gross...?). Rich people being absurd just because they can--if it was meant to impress viewer, I just think they're big spender weirdos. The ending is also meh. A sudden change of heart for putting love interest over family? Suuuure. Suddenly the family business doesn't matter at all? The family doesn't mind the business handled over to the... cousins? *shrug*

[asoue s2-s3] It still got the same interesting aesthetic and grim story from s1. I feel the two latter seasons got more exciting actions tho. But throughout the series, I often feel weary/frustrated from the bad, rather forced coincidences (well, it IS a series of unfortunate events. what did i expect :/) and the "ineffective" adults (... I'd say they are just too moronic *sigh*).

(also Jacqueline Scieczka just gone, left out from the story like that...? aND LARRY DIDN'T DESERVE THAT PLS!!)

Nobunaga no Shinobi (2016) -- comedy, historical. A story of Nobunaga uniting Japan, along with [guess who] his shinobi. It’s a comedy chibi series based on 4-koma manga, so it may not be so precise with the history down to the smallest detail, but the lighthearted comedy won me over. The characters are endearingly funny, I had good laughs. Season 2 is currently airing now but I think I’ll wait for it to complete first, since waiting a week for a 5-min ep sounds like too much agony XD

Kokoro ga sakebitagatterunda / The Anthem of The Heart (2015) -- drama, romance, school life. A girl who doesn't talk got chosen as the main committee of community event, writing her words into her class musical instead. It's been a good watch! Relatable story, most (all?) of the tracks are familiar/my favs even... had it not been for the ending pairings heh. At first I chalked up the first one to my personal bias, but after the second one I definitely think I don't like them because it feels too sudden, out of the blue, without enough reason shown in the story to prop up the ending. Orrrr it's still my own personal bias? XD Either way the ending kinda left me with a bitter taste. It's unexpected tho, I can give it that one :v

Watamote (2013) - slice of life. A tale of socially awkward girl. I’ve only watched 2 eps but. No I can’t stand it any longer. I agree with a comment on a web: It’s not like it’s bad but the story portray socially awkward person too well!!!! *cringes*. It’s too real like I can see the girl in socially awkward people heck I can see the girl in me I can see the faults in her thoughts yet I can’t think of an easy way to save her from her own mindset you can’t tell me she does all this to herself yet why nobody help her?? and her weird farfetched thoughts are just her way to cope?? how is she supposed to save herself?? Life Is Unfair(TM) 20 mins after watching, I still have butterflies in my stomach. From the cringe. Damn :”))

Kono Bijutsubu ni wa Mondai ga Aru! (2016) -- slice of life, romance, comedy. Slice of life featuring art club's gang of misfits. Reminded me a lot of chuunibyou and nozaki (sometimes i wonder if it's actually intentionally shouting out to those two). I really love its lighthearted comedy and bits of drama, perfect for bleary dreary days ♥
