Who would be the big spoon? Shitsuo rightfully so.
Who would wake up first? Shitsuo, it is apart of his job to wake the prince up and update him on the daily schedule.
Do they have nicknames for each other? Shih tzu when hibis feeling casual and playful. Shitsuo's I think would be more cutesy and basic.
What happened when they met each others parents? SO. I like to think that Shitsuo was hired because Hibiya's parents had an idea that with their soon planned departure, the prince would probably not join. They wanted to hire a new butler that could be Hibiya's friend and confidant, closer in age, so they right away hid nothing from him despite continuing to do so with Hibiya at the time. Shitsuo would have been extremely young but took him with great trust. Their biggest complaint was his hair but left that to Hibiya to request a change of or not.
How do they apologize after an argument? Shitsuo fucking throws himself at the mercy of the court. He knows how Hibiya ticks, from time and him having to occasionally reprimand other employees, so the prince doesn't stay mad easily. Hibiya again, will pretend everything is fine and moved past until he feels safe enough to actually apologize. But he's horribly embarrassed to do so - it means he's admitting wrong to an employee after all. Unless it's something that happened on a personal level, it's a very formal apology.
What would they be like as parents? Neither are great with children lol. A lot of practice in patience needed. Like just bad what can I say.
Who is the better cook? LOL Shitsuo
Who is more romantic? Shitsuo. He has greater control over hiding what he's planning. Zones out and daydreams when cleaning and doing the rounds.
What sort of gifts do they get each other? Less physical, more gifts in moments. Hibiya cherishes rare moments of calm between them, sharing a bottle of wine or a walk around the garden at night. He'll schedule a fake meeting to make sure there's time blocked out. Shitsuo kind of the same, but likes buying small things to keep around the manor as tokens. And his way of claiming territory.
Who gets jealous easiest? Shitsuo, constantly. Hibiya is supposed to be marrying a princess after all not fucking around with his butler. So with rightful reason to an extent, but he tries to keep it to himself.
Who gets more excited for events e.g. Christmas, birthdays? Hibiya lol it's only more work on the butler.
Who is the most adventurous? I suppose Shitsuo. They're both creatures of habit, but he'll try to mix things up when he's feeling confident or safe enough.
Who is most protective? Shitsuo is mostly butler but also bodyguard. There's a lot trying to hurt the prince, mostly mental, that he tries to protect him from.
What would they have been like as childhood sweethearts? Soulmates from the beginning. Elton John and Bernie Taupin. Inseparable. One of them having a temper and the other being like "Do you feel better with it out of your system now? Can we move on?"
