This box was used in #Glenkinchie #Lowland #SingleMalt Distillery to ensure the mill rollers were set correctly. The 3 filters sifted out the grain to 10% flour, 70% grits and 20% husks. If the percentages were incorrect a stick Mash could result, so the boys would reset the mill rollers using the handy diagram in the box for guidance. This contraption has been replaced by a new 8 filter automatic machine. #30daysofLeap #RevisitHistory
