not super into the whole blood purity thing, not super into the whole muggles are gr8 thing. doesn’t know what to do tbh. listens to what his parents want him to do, though, because he doesn’t want to offend them and he doesn’t want to get hurt. he knows that at this point if he’s caught stepping even a toe out of line they will kill him. hangs out with all the blood purists and puts up this facade that he’s Super Into It but seriously just wants to move to romania and own a house with a lot of dogs.
literally…..loves dogs. what a Blessing to this earth. so soft and pure and innocent, they don’t know that the world is crumbling. wants to own a lot of dogs one day – the DREAM.
he was super cut when sirius left. like….. it was awful. he’d always sort of idolised sirius, even if they didn’t get along, and seeing him leave just made him think he was worthless. it just cemented for him how little people in the purist society seem to care about anyone else. it made him realise too how expendable he was and definitely pushed him over the edge to try harder to impress his parents.
asexual asf. aromantic too. does not understand love at ALL. having grown up in such an abusive home, he genuinely does not know what it’s like to love someone, or what it feels like to be loved. and quite frankly, he doesn’t want to love anyone – he knows that having people you care about makes you more vulnerable and just the mere thought scares him to death.
literally so fucking intelligent. he aces all of his classes with ease and goes above and beyond what the teachers ask of him. his cunning skills are what make him most useful to the cause of the death eaters, even if he is neutral asf and doesn’t care for them using him that way. he’s not just book smart though, he’s also an incredibly talented wizard. he’s already aced the patronus charm and is currently teaching himself wandless magic. he’s just… so smart holy shit i can’t.
hasn’t used his magic to harm anyone yet but everyone is pushing him to take his skills and do something with it. he doesn’t have the dark mark just yet, but has been told he has a place waiting for him once he shows he’s worthy (namely: does whatever the dark lord asks of him within the walls of hogwarts). he’s genuinely terrified about it because he doesn’t want it at all and is trying to figure out a way to keep on everyone’s good side but also not get the mark — so far, nothing’s working.
