Thank you for your kind acceptance.
All I meant was that what is being told as propaganda and stuff is actually real. There are Jihadists entering Egypt and killing people. I did not in any way whatsoever say that we are perfect because we once helped or that no one should say that Egypt is bad or that we are “demonizing Palestinians". Bel 3aks. I am happy that my country once tried helping, but now we are even too incapable of even saving ourselves from the disaster we are in. The tunnel had to be closed, but a representative from our government said it will be reopened once terrorism against our army and us is done with. The government even halted the peace treaty with Israel, and it will soon be deleted, hopefully. Rockets were caught a week ago that were going to be sent in Cairo, and trust me I know that because we have a family friend that works in the army.
I have close Palestinian friends, so I cannot hate Palestine and its people at all. The problem is that the Arab countries with the money do not have a proper army, and we have a proper army, but a terrible economy. Once things get at least a little better, we will try to help because its our brothers and sisters out there. Do not assume that we are in love with Israel or something like what most of Arab world thinks. They killed most of our army years ago and bombed our houses. We definitely hate them. That peace treaty was just something Anwar Al Sadat did to stop his people from bleeding out, because he realized how awkward our situation was.
I would write more, but I have a very high fever and can’t look a lot at the laptop screen. Please, feel free to share your point of view. My Pali friends told me about theirs, I’d like to hear yours, too. Once again, thank you for being polite and understanding, and thank you for your time.
-- My issue with your post was about feeling "sorry" for Gazan people suffering. I don't really care about whether you refer to Hamas, or Islamic Jihad as "Jihad warriors". Secondly don't you ever think those "Jihad warriors" can come from Ikhwan Al-Muslimeen themselves? It's nothing to do with Israel at all. The point is Gaza is facing a horrible siege and those tunnels are their lifelines. Do you think Gazans and Egyptians enjoy digging those tunnels and going through them? No. They just want to get through as much supplies as they can. Gaza economy fails as a result, and have you even seen what is in the Gaza stores? Israeli products. Funding the Israeli economy would be counterproductive because it then gives Israel a reason to continue the siege. Egypt is a big country, and I know it's responsibility is its people, but Egypt took on the responsibility of Gaza from post-1948, you'd expect it to still help to today. Also if you wanted to improve the Egyptian economy, then I'm sure Gazans would be more than happy to buy Egyptian, and not Israeli products.
