do you have a list of books you've read? I'm looking for newer information on fibro treatments.
This is a super good question! Although, I can't provide you with many options. In my experience, I haven't found a lot of books that have provided information on treatment or the disease itself. A lot of my journey has been figuring it out on my own, doctors advise (good & bad) and finding support online - like tumblr or articles about medications and the illness. I'm sorry that I can't answer this properly. But I can tell you what's been working for me, which may not work for everyone.
Vitamins - C, D & Iron are crucial to my health.
Strength training and exercise - I have weight bands that are easier on my limbs to use than free weights.
Swimming - An amazing way to work out and support your muscles and joints.
A good bed - For years, I slept on crappy mattresses or on a floor. Having a box spring changed my back pain for the better.
Aspercreme - lol I don't enjoy smelling like an old lady BUT, it helps me move on those really bad days.
Medication - this differs for everyone, but i'm being treated for a number of things and still looking for the right mix.
I've heard but haven't tried - cortisone shots, acupuncture and physical therapy.
Did this help at all? I have found some books at Barnes & Noble, but didn't feel they helped me any. I'm sorry I can't provide you with a list, but always always ask me anything! :)
