Best of 2015 Countdown, #14 :: The Queens Evacuation [ 15 ]
On 3 January, the Queens Theatre in London was evacuated early in the first act of the matinee of Les Miserables, after a small fire in the theatre’s boiler room. Cast members in costume and the audience were sent onto the surrounding streets before the show was finally cancelled, and the actors made the best of it, finding refuge at the Prince Edward Theatre and setting themselves up a lad’s-club-pub before being allowed back to the Queens.
Dougie Carter's updated headshots; very different, very interesting.

a song for the leavers, special separate edition, as god knows they’ve earned it :: the colbourne/edwards show. from winning the three-legged race at the Sports Day to many, many jealous twitterpouts, from happy sundays and domesticity runs in Boots to many, many post-show drinkies and the mantra of bath-whisky-bed, michael and christian cheerfully and charmingly went all-in from day one of rehearsals, and they’ll be hugely, ridiculously missed. cheers, duckie-duckies.
