Not usually considered a balancing pose but chair pose can definitely be tricky when it comes to balance. Your knees are supposed to be over your ankles and your butt is supposed to be behind you, like sitting in a chair. But getting your knees over your ankles can be super tricky. Guess what, it takes balance! Then throw in a twist. Does that help the balance or make it harder? Let me know what you think 😉 Some notes on revolved chair pose, parivrtta utkatasana - feet together with toes touching and heels slightly apart, or feet hip width and parallel - knees over ankles - knees in line with your toes (you should be able to see your toes over your knees) - booty low and back, like sitting in a chair - elbow hooked on outside of knee in the direction your twisting - hands pressing firmly into each other, trying to get them in line with your sternum - gaze wherever is comfortable on the neck Ps. One was watching the other day a red-tailed hawk, high in the heavens, circling effortlessly, without a beat of the wing, just for the fun of flying, just to be sustained by the air-currents.
